This module has a text area on the backend for accepting code. This means that you can cut and paste code such as potential advertisers may supply you with. You can also do things like put text into your side columns. Or perhaps you've seen the code for a nice clock that isn't yet available as a joomla item.

In addition to the main text area in the backend there are also several options to select a background colour and position your module accurately.
Now with module suffix parameter to enable CSS styling option.

Easy Accordion

Uses mootools library to create the accordion effect. This implementation requires no specialist knowledge. In addition by default it takes its styling from your existing template so that for most users there is very little to be done to have a great looking addition to your site.

There are text areas on the backend for accepting content. This means that you can cut and paste content or code rather than write complicated stuff for creating the accordion.

Multiple accordions on a page (using Joomla module copy) will behave as a single unit. Thus an accordion can be extended beyond the eight items in a single module.

The action of the accordion is triggered either with a mouseover or click action. This is set on the parameters page of the module backend.

In addition to the main text areas in the backend there is also the option to modify (if found necessary) your module with a module suffix parameter which enables CSS styling.

Please note that although the Mootools framework that these accordions require is integral to Joomla 1.5.xx it is necessary to install it for the older Joomla 1.0.xx. I have bundled a plugin to install Mootools for Joomla 1.0.xx.

Translation

Available With AltaVista, Yahoo and Google Translations

Updated with more homesite language options. Now available with a few hundred language pairs so most major and many minor markets are covered.

This module connects to the Yahoo,Google and AltaVista translation servers. It places the Yahoo/Google logo and a drop down menu on your page or for AltaVista one or more flags. See it in action at the left side column of this page. Also the module provides facilities for positioning and background colour (in addition to CSS option).

Try out the module, click on the dropdown list of languages in the Yahoo and Google boxes in the left-hand column of this site. I have provided some links so you may see the effect of translation in different web layouts.

Comments and Limitations

If you have any comments I have provided a page for this on the top menu or an email contact at the bottom of the page. However please do remember that the translations are provided by machine, that sometimes that they may appear to be a bit clumsy and occasionaly absurd. If you are aiming your web content at an international audience using this type of service it is best to keep to short simple sentence structures.

The Choice is Yours

The module works by giving a choice of using either Yahoo/AltaVista Babelfish or Google Translate. Some sites work better with one some with the the other.

Mootools Plugin

All on this page for use with Joomla 1.0.xx x

This plugin installs Mootools 1.11 into your site to give it similiar facilities as Joomla 1.5.xx where Mootools is integrated into the package. If you want to get an idea of the possibilities that this offers why not take a look at mootools demos

The Mootools file this plugin contains is covered by the open source MIT license otherwise this package is freeware, no restrictions on implementation of module.

Basic Drawer Module

Uses mootools library to create the drawer effect. This implementation requires no specialist knowledge.

There is a text area on the back end for accepting content. This means that you can cut and paste content or code rather than write complicated stuff for creating the drawer.The modules also come with a selection of 200 graphical buttons to activate the drawer or the possibility to add your own. Simple text buttons may also be created. Up to 5 independent drawers are possible on a page.
